<About the Project>
Aomori Prefecture is proud of its No. 1 production of burdock in Japan.
Our mission for developing burdock products comes from our hope to deliver the joy of “eating “through Aomori burdock. However, for that, we have to be responsible for making and delivering high quality products. With that in mind, we have been enjoying the process of being creative with Aomori burdock.
Our Themes: “Love”, “Dream” and “Hope”

Do you know the flower language of burdock flowers? The answers are “do not touch me”, “do not be mean to me”, “precaution”, “to insist persistently” and “a man of character”.
Do they sound negative? Don’t they sound distinguished at the same to too? What happens in the life of burdock? Do they fight against a series of hardships in a grand farmland without us noticing it?

We believe that though burdocks are raised in Aomori field with such tender care, they somehow feel cramped because they cannot move on their own. When they look up, they see countless white clouds floating in the big sky freely. “Someday, we want to be free and travel as far as we can like those clouds”. That must be the dream of burdocks.

Through the Flying Burdock Project, burdocks change their shapes into something different and finally, they can fly into the big sky to give hope to people and also to make them happy.

In that way through this project with Aomori-grown burdock, we hope to deliver love, dreams and hope to the world.
